ElectUK app for iPhone and iPad

ElectUK is a mobile application that allows users to track, analyse and visualise Twitter conversations around the 2015 UK General Election.

Designed, built and delivered by Tata Consultancy Services, ElectUK turns your smartphone into an advanced social media analytics tool, giving you the ability to identify and share online trends around the upcoming election.

The ElectUK app analyses Twitter updates from, and mentions about, more than two thousand MP candidates from across the UK, allowing users to:

• Access a regularly updated ranking of the UK’s most talked about politicians and parties
• Monitor and compare positive and negative sentiment about both individuals and parties
• Identify the most talked about political issues, and the parties and politicians most closely associated with them
• See where in the UK tweets originate from. Users can compare the geographic breakdown by party and track positive and negative mentions by location.

The views represented in tweets are entirely those of the tweeter and do not represent the views of TCS. By developing the app and presenting public Twitter data, TCS is in no way endorsing the views represented in any tweets or passing comment on any candidate, campaign, party or policy.

The app is based on highly sophisticated big data analytics software. TCS have endeavoured to make the representation of data in this app as accurate as possible. We manually check the data on a daily basis, but anomalies may occur. Please report any major errors to us and we will address these as soon as possible.
